Data controller

Elodie DIKIM, sole trader trading as DEKIM, is the controller of the customer data processed for Whiskcam. Contact the professional address below for privacy requests, or support@whiskcam.com.

Data and purposes

Orders require your name, email, delivery address, order details and the payment data needed by the checkout provider. These are used to perform the sales contract, deliver goods, send order and shipping emails and provide support. Without the necessary details, we cannot fulfill your order. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider; Whiskcam does not store full card numbers. We also process technical and security data to operate the site and prevent fraud (legitimate interest), and records required by accounting and tax law (legal obligation). Marketing and optional tracking rely on your consent where required.

Service providers

Shopify provides checkout and order management; Vercel hosts the website. Payment providers and carriers receive the details needed for payment and delivery. Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and TikTok provide measurement or advertising tools as described below. Providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; their applicable transfer safeguards and privacy information can be consulted in their policies. Our use of Shopify is also described in Shopify's consumer privacy policy.

Cookies and audience measurement

The cart, chosen country and cookie preference support the shopping experience. Google Analytics and TikTok scripts use restricted consent settings before you accept; Microsoft Clarity loads after acceptance. Vercel Analytics measures visits without cookies. Use the cookie preferences button on this page to change your choice or withdraw consent at any time. Refusing optional tracking does not prevent you from shopping.

Our private Umami analytics

With your agreement, Umami records page paths, referring site origins, browser language, device category and predefined actions such as viewing the offer, adding to cart and starting checkout. It loads only after a valid new consent and respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. URL queries, fragments, form contents, customer and cart identifiers, and document titles are excluded. No session recording or cross-site visitor identity is enabled.

The private analytics service at stats.ritoko.com is hosted on Vercel, with its Neon database in Frankfurt. Only authorized administrators can read its statistics, including from our private reporting dashboard. Detailed analytics are kept for 90 days. The cookie choice is stored locally for six months; the preferences button lets you withdraw it. Withdrawal stops future collection; already collected aggregate statistics are not linked to your customer account. This tracking does not confirm purchases completed on Shopify.

Retention

Order data is kept to fulfill the contract, manage warranties and address disputes, then for applicable statutory periods. Accounting and invoice records are retained for 10 years. Support correspondence is reviewed for deletion or restricted archiving three years after the matter is closed, except where needed for a dispute or legal obligation. Provider-specific technical retention periods are described in their policies.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object where the law provides for it, and withdraw consent. Contact dekim.pro@gmail.com. We respond within one month, subject to lawful extensions. You may complain to the French CNIL at cnil.fr or your local data protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
